Dave Hobbs

 Dave Hobbs is the senior technical field trainer and technical training course developer for Delphi Technologies.  Dave’s experience in the industry started as a technician and service manager in his family’s auto electric business in Kokomo Indiana.  He has also served as an adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech Community College and radio host for Kokomo’s Z92-Five.  In addition, Dave has experience as a field engineer and electronics systems instructor teaching GM Delco Electronics / Delphi engineers throughout North American and Asia.  Dave is also a contributor for Motor Age Magazine, field correspondent for MACS Worldwide (Mobile AC Society) and an instructor in over 30 training videos with Automotive Video Innovations (AVI).  Dave is an ASE master certified technician with L1 and L3 Advanced Specialist certifications.  40 years of wrenching, technical writing, teaching and OEM tier 1 supplier experience adds up to plenty of practical knowledge to help technicians solve problems on today’s vehicles.  Dave strives to add hands on elements and humor into every class he teaches.  Whether you’re an advanced tech or just getting started you won’t find yourself bored in a Dave Hobbs class!
