As fuel prices continue their roller coaster ride and emissions? laws become even more stringent, customers continue demanding more performance and better fuel economy. Vehicle manufacturers have responded with a myriad of transmission designs and operating strategies to meet demand.

At the leading edge of this contemporary industry trend is the General Motors? 6T40/45 & 6T70/75 family of transaxles. This class will help familiarize technicians with the 6T Transaxle family and its general operational characteristics. This course will include:

*Introduction to 6T40/45/70/75 *Proper Towing Options *Overview of Major System Components *General Powerflow *Service Issues, Diagnosis and Repair Practices

As dealerships close nation wide, newer vehicles will continue to find their way into private shops for service and major repairs. This course will familiarize and assist private shop technicians in applying concepts and procedures to properly diagnose concerns with the Hydra-Matic 6T automatic transaxle family.
